With 4E3D Training we strive to quickly engage new makers in a way that shows them the excitement of 3D printing and the fun that it can be. We start by quickly introducing them to sites like where other makers share their work for the joy of others and simply allowing creativity. Things like star wars phone cases, performance cars and more can be quickly downloaded, imported and printed to engage anyone in the process.
With 4E3D Training we work with students, teachers and families to learn the available resources for design including Adobe Illustrator for 2D images and free programs like AutoDesk 123D Design or Fusion 360 to teach the power and ease of taking ideas and making them in a 3D virtual space.
With 4E3D Training we provide an experience where the virtual creation of ideas become a reality. This process includes teaching how to export files to free (Cura) or paid (Simplify 3D) slicing programs that take 3D files and slice them into the different layers that will be printed. We share the excitement of having the software turn a 3D image into the machine code (gcode) required to tell the printer every single movement it needs in geometric space and what speeds and feeds are needed to print a model.
With 4E3D Training we bring the process together and stick with our students, teachers and families until they are comfortable with the process and have enough hands on experience to be empowered to create, make, imaging and invent anything they can dream!
