Part No. 3092
This power supply is an upgrade for just about any controller board in a 3dPrinter. It was designed to run two separate 24Volt Rails at up to 550 watts total power. It has a 5volt supply, 3.3 volt supply, 12 volt and a Stand by 5v that can allow things like a Raspberry PI to wake up the printer.
Since this +24 V power supply is a modified version of a typical +12 V ATX power supply, it follows the same standards. The advantage of an ATX power supply lies in the supplied additional voltages which eliminate the need for generating those voltages at the point of use and cuts out the heat generated in the process.
Activate all the power rails on the power supply by connecting the Green “Power On” wire on pin 16 to any Black ground wire
To see all the details of the wiring please look at the documentation page on this site and download the +24 Volt ATX Power Supply Info Sheet.
For questions, email 3DP@laserwelddesign.com BEFORE you cut any wires. 🙂
